1 month in Oaxaca!!

 Hi everyone!

Today completes a full month in the mission field. The days are so long but looking back a month has gone by like nothing.
The other day, we were in the city of Yagul. It's strange because it's a very desolate puebla, but the work is heavy in Yagul. So many members of the church. On this particular day, the dogs all hated us.  Every street we walked down was just non stop barking. We went down one street to find this lady and out of no where came a HUGE Great Dane furiously barking at us. Me and my comp tried to intimidate it, but it had the ganas to intimidate us right back. Boy, I thought we were done for.  Then this little kid came running out of his house and smacked the dog so hard in the face. Full force lol. It gave a little whimper and walked away in defeat hahaha. When we go back I'm gonna look for the kid and his dog for a picta. Also in Yagul, there is a member of the church that's originally from Peru. He cooked us some saltado de pollo with noodles the other day and it was absolutely delicious.
One of my favorite activities here in Tlacolula is to talk to the drunk old guys.  What's funny is 100% of them know how to speak atleast some English. They love to utilize their language skills and quiz us on our beliefs. They usually talk some nonsense as well, but once in a while will hit you with some words of wisdom.
We also have recently met a lady named Victoria AKA Vicky Martinez. She's a few fries short of a happy meal, but I'm glad we get to teach her. She has a cute little parrot that can say Vicky and copy's people's laughs. Quite genial if you ask me.  I'll get a picture with her and her parrot next time I see her.
On another note, we had our first baptism in the area.  Also quite genial if you ask me.

That's pretty much it for this week
Miss you all lots!! Email me!!!!!
